Aerofoil House Rules
The terms used in these House Rules shall have the same meaning as the terms used in the License Agreement. These rules may change from time to time, whether impacted by changes in local laws or operational changes within Aerofoil Workspace. Changes will be communicated to all Members in a timely manner. Members and Visitors are required to abide by all Aerofoil Workspace’s House Rules.
(a) Dress Code and Conduct
Members must observe a proper business dress code and always conduct themselves in a business-like manner within the Premises. Inappropriate attire may result in notification from Aerofoil Staff. Always maintain a professional demeanour to foster a respectful and inclusive environment.
(b) Collaboration and Mutual Respect
Aerofoil Workspace encourages our Members to make connections, collaborate on projects, share ideas, provide advice, and generally make great things happen. However, Members may not spend a large part of their time at the Premises directly soliciting other Members as doing so may result in termination of their membership were it to continue after the Member has been cautioned. While we want our community to be open, fun, engaging, energizing, and collaborative, we also want it to be professional.
(c) Noise
Keep noise to a reasonable level throughout all areas to ensure a professional business environment. Noise should not interfere with the work of other members. Use headphones for any audio and ensure that conversations are kept at a moderate volume. No audible music. Aerofoil Workspace recommends that you take advantage of the quite booths if you would like to take personal calls to avoid disrupting other Members.
(d) No Public Touting
Public touting of business is not allowed unless approved by Aerofoil Workspace. All business solicitations must be conducted privately and with the prior approval of the involved parties.
(e) Proper Disposal of Waste
Dispose of waste in proper receptacles provided throughout the Premises. Non-compactable items or hazardous waste must be disposed of at the Member’s cost and in compliance with local regulations.
(f) No Smoking
Aerofoil Workspace facilities are smoke, tobacco, and illegal substance free. The Member and Visitors and may not smoke, vape, chew tobacco or carry lighted cigars or cigarettes in the Premises. Violation of this rule will result in immediate action and may include fines or termination of membership.
(g) Intoxicating Substances
Aerofoil reserves the right to exclude or evict anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Consumption of alcohol is only permitted during approved events and must be done responsibly.
(h) No Lodging
No person is permitted to sleep in any area of the Premises. The Premises is a workspace, and sleeping is strictly prohibited.
(i) Return of Access Items
All keys, access cards, or other access devices must be returned at the end of the membership term without altering any locks. Any lost or unreturned items will incur replacement charges.
(j) No Animals
Animals are not allowed without written consent from Aerofoil Workspace, except for guide dogs or service animals.
(k) Compliance by Visitors
Members must ensure their Visitors comply with all house rules. Members are responsible for the actions of their Visitors.
(l) Operating Hours
Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00. Closed on weekends and public holidays. Access outside these hours requires prior approval and may incur additional charges.
(m) Communal Areas
These areas are not for storage or movement of bulk goods without prior agreement. Ensure communal areas remain tidy and free from personal items when not in use.
(n) Food Consumables
Members may heat up their lunch in the microwaves provided in the kitchen area and may only be consumed in designated breakout spaces.
(o) Visitor Registration
All Visitors must register upon arrival and be accompanied by a Member at all times. Visitors should not be left unattended in any area. Visitors are permitted to stay:
- for a maximum of 2 hours per day in the Workspace; or
- where a meeting room has been booked by a Member, for the duration of the booked session in the meeting room. Otherwise, a Day Pass rate shall apply, which will be charged to the Member.
(p) Dangerous Goods
The Member may not bring upon, use, or keep in the Premises or the Building, any inflammable, combustible or explosive material.
House Rules
(q) Signages
No signage other than what is provided by Aerofoil Workspace is allowed. All signage must conform to Aerofoil Workspace’s standards and be approved in writing.
(r) Cooking and Odors
Cooking and strong odours are prohibited. This includes the use of hot plates, microwaves, or any appliance that emits strong smells.
(s) Workspace Capacity
Do not exceed the number of workstations in your Workspace without written consent. Ensure your workspace setup complies with safety and fire regulations.
(t) Phone Booths
‘First In First Serve’ policy applies to phone booths. We do not permit leaving personal belongings inside the phone booths to reserve them. As courtesy to all Members and Day Pass holders, we ask that you limit the use of them to 30 minutes maximum ensuring others have access to this amenity as well. Using phone booths for activities other than private calls such as long meetings, secondary workspace, or in-person client meetings is not allowed. If you require a quite space longer than 30 minutes, booking a meeting room is a great option. No food inside the phone booths is allowed. We request that you tidy up the space after using so the next user can enjoy the same.
